Who can become a member??
In the Lakeside Dreamers Cooperative, both individuals and legal entities can acquire membership. Anyone interested in investing in the purchase and development of the eco-camping project and who aligns with our values and vision is welcome to become a member.
How to become a member?
After an introductory meeting (online or in person), the following documents must be submitted:
A fully completed and originally signed membership declaration in two copies.
A copy of an ID (for individuals) or an extract from the commercial register or an equivalent document (for legal entities).
Once membership is officially confirmed in writing by the cooperative's board, the required membership contribution along with the one-time registration fee must be paid no later than October 31, 2025.
What Is the Registration Fee and What Does It Cover?
Every new cooperative member (excluding business and friends/investor memberships) must pay a one-time registration fee. This administrative fee covers the costs of joining the cooperative and amounts to 5% of the membership contribution.
What Happens If the Required Capital Is Not Reached by October 31, 2025?
If the required capital is not reached by the aforementioned date, the payment will be canceled. Applicants will have the option to withdraw their membership declaration or accept a new deadline.
What Is the Amount of the Membership Contribution?
The membership contribution depends on the chosen type of membership. There are three different types of memberships, detailed below.
Can I Transfer My Membership Shares to Another Person?
Yes, members can transfer their membership shares, in whole or in part, to another person through a written agreement. The new shareholder must meet the general requirements, and their membership must be officially confirmed in writing by the cooperative's board.
What Are the Termination Conditions for Membership, and What Happens to Acquired Shares?
Membership can first be terminated after four years, at the end of the financial year, with a two-year notice period. The termination must be submitted in writing to the cooperative no later than three months before the end of the financial year. Acquired shares will be refunded in full.
Types of Membership
1. Permanent Campers
By acquiring membership, permanent campers receive a designated plot on the campsite, where, for example, a private caravan with its own terrace can be set up. The accommodation can be sublet privately or in cooperation with the company Wakaje to amortize the cost shares. Additionally, there is the option of financing through an external bank. Further information will follow shortly. Additionally, members benefit from exclusive advantages also provided by the company Wakaje. Detailed information is available in the member benefits section.
The required contribution depends on the category of the camping spot.
An annual fee is also charged in addition to the membership contribution. Details are provided in the annual fees section.
Category Of The Camping Spots
a) Lakeside Zone 19.000,00 EUR
b) Forest Zone: 16.000,00 EUR
c) Forest Zone - Preferential Membership*: 5.000,00 EUR
*These discounted spots are intended for individuals with low incomes. If you wish to apply for such a spot, please send an email with an appropriate justification: info@lakeside-dreamers.com.
2. Friends / Investors / Supporters
Friends and investors are members whose primary goal is to support the cooperative. In return, they receive a fixed annual interest rate of 3,0 %. They also benefit from various perks offered by Wakaje. Detailed information is available in the member benefits section.
The required contribution starts from 5.000,00 EUR
3. Founding Members
Founding members are individuals who established the cooperative. They voluntarily developed and supported the concept from idea to implementation. Upon acquiring membership, is granted a permanent camping spot on the cooperative's grounds. They also benefit from various perks offered by Wakaje. Detailed information is available in the member benefits section. These memberships were granted at the time of establishment.
The required contribution is 500,00 EUR
